Swindon Town Football Club is seeking an Accounts Assistant to support the day-to-day finance operations in a fast-paced environment. You will handle purchase and sales invoices, maintain supplier records, and assist with month-end processes.

The role requires accuracy, strong communication across departments, and experience with accounting software and Excel. AAT study attendance is welcome, and the position is based at Swindon. Closing date is 23 November 2026.

Qualifications

• Experience in a finance or accounts role, or studying towards AAT (or similar).
• Organised, accurate and confident with numbers.
• Comfortable with accounting software and Excel.
• Clear communicator who builds positive relationships across departments.
• Proactive, reliable and a positive team player.

Responsabilités

• Process purchase invoices, match them to purchase orders and maintain supplier records.
• Prepare and issue sales invoices across commercial, retail and hospitality.
• Assist with daily bank reconciliations, cashbook maintenance and credit control.
• Maintain accurate records of matchday income, retail takings and other revenue.
• Assist with month-end journals, accruals and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Help monitor departmental budgets and support continuous improvement of processes.
