TRP Recruitment Limited is recruiting on behalf of a Group Company home to a portfolio of reputable global brands. They seek an Accounts Assistant to support the Financial Controller across a broad range of day-to-day accounting tasks in a fast-paced environment.

This role is ideal for someone studying towards AAT, CIMA or ACCA, offering hands-on experience across bookkeeping, reconciliations and financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Studying towards AAT, CIMA, or ACCA.
• Experience in finance, either on the commercial side of accounts or within an accounting practice.
• Good knowledge of double entry bookkeeping.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Comfortable working to strict deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Assist with weekly cash flow and payment run.
• Post invoices and credit notes onto Sage.
• Support monthly and quarterly close preparations.
• Check bank statements and update cashbook across currencies.
• Assist with monthly cash flow preparation and budgeting.
