Job description

Thrive Group is pleased to collaborate with our client in Bath, who is actively seeking to recruit an Accounts Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis.
What you will be doing:

The Accounts Assistant will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy of financial records and supporting the accounting team.

  1. Process accounts payable transactions, including verifying invoices, coding expenses, and preparing payments.
  2. Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
  3. Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
  4. Assist with month-end closing procedures.
  5. Prepare financial reports and analysis as needed.
  6. Provide support to the accounting team as required.
What you will need to succeed:
  • Understanding of accounts payable processes.
  • Strong attention to detail and good numeracy skills.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively.
