Thrive Group is delighted to collaborate with our client in Bath, who is actively seeking to recruit a Accounts Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis.

What You Will Be Doing:

The Accounts Assistant will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy of financial records and supporting the accounting team.

  • Process accounts payable transactions, including verifying invoices, coding expenses, and preparing payments.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
  • Assist with month-end closing procedures.
  • Prepare financial reports and analysis as needed.
  • Provide support to the accounting team as required.
What You Will Need to Succeed:
  • Understanding of accounts payable processes.
  • Strong attention to detail and good numeracy skills.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively.
What You Will Receive in Return:
  • £23,660 per annum
  • Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week
