Job summary

Müller UK & Ireland is hiring an Assistant Financial Accountant on a 12-month secondment basis to join a busy Finance Team. You will study toward AAT and gain hands-on experience in banking, VAT, journals and month-end processes in a fast-paced FMCG environment.

You will work a 40-hour week, with a hybrid pattern (3 days on site) in Telford, supported by a competitive salary and benefits package designed to develop your accounting career.

Qualifications

• AAT Level 2 (commenced/minimum)
• SAP experience preferable
• Excel - Intermediate level
• Must be able to think clearly, deliver quickly and accurately

Responsibilities

• Daily banking duties, including Bank reconciliations
• Balance sheet data preparation
• Prepare VAT return data
• Preparation and posting of journals, accruals and prepayments
• Assisting with month end and year end process
• Inter Company Recharges and reconciliations
• Providing information to the external auditors as required
• Extensive use of Excel spreadsheets
• Reconciling and Processing Payroll journals

Hours:Monday-Friday (40 hours)
