Job description

Lloyd Land Rover York is seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join our team.

Salary: £25,350 + Bonus

Hours: 37.5 per week

Role Responsibilities:
  1. Checking and re-allocating nominal postings
  2. Coding of Purchase Invoices
  3. Credit Control
  4. Completing and checking mileage logs
  5. Ledger Maintenance - ensuring Sales and Purchase Ledgers are tidy
  6. Initiating Monthly Run and paying Inter-Company Accounts
  7. Checking and allocating Manufacturer commission
  8. Stock counts
  9. Managing Petty Cash
  10. Daily Banking
Candidate Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have general accounts experience, which may include:

  • Sales & Purchase Ledger
  • Credit Control
Skills & Experience:
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • IT literacy
  • General office/administration experience
  • Effective time management and attention to detail
  • AAT qualification is desirable but not essential
  • Experience in the motor industry and knowledge of Kerridge is desirable but not essential; full training will be provided.
