About The Role
As our business evolves, we are looking to strengthen our workforce with talented and motivated individuals across a range of disciplines to work from our Northwest Engineering Centre of Excellence and currently have this opportunity available:
The primary purpose of this role is to be responsible for monthly finance tasks and to provide support across all areas of the finance department
Key Duties Include, But Are Not Limited To
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Profit and loss reconciliations for tax pack
- Accruals
- Prepayments
- Posting of monthly journals
- Updating CAPWIP file
- Fixed asset reconciliation, depreciation posting and capitalisation
- Preparation and submission of VAT returns
- Reconciliation of intercompany transactions
- Reconcile intercompany accounts
- Foreign currency revaluations
- Assist with Month end closing
- Assist with interim and year end audit
- Assist with tax claims
- Petty cash
- Assistance with periodic stocktakes
- Weekly cashflow preparation
- Preparation of SECR information
- Support / cover other areas of Finance
- Ad hoc duties as required
What We’re Looking For
Our ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:
- Minimum of grade C in English and Maths at GCSE or equivalent
- Previous experience working in finance
- AAT part qualified or studying towards AAT
- Experience of SAP
