Job description

Due to an increase in instructions, our Finance department is looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant to work within our transactional finance team on a permanent basis, primarily working from home or from our office in MediaCityUK.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to enhance their career in Finance. We welcome applications from anyone with previous transactional finance experience, and knowledge of Aderant is a plus!

This role is fast-paced, so you’ll never be bored. You will support the wider Accounts team by:

  1. Accurately processing financial transactions and reviewing invoices on the firm’s accounting software.
  2. Providing billing assistance to Fee Earners.
  3. Reviewing and processing client account payments in line with SRA Solicitor Account rules and regulations.
  4. Monitoring bank and credit card transactions.

What do I need?

Previous experience in a high-volume transactional Accounts role is required, ideally within a legal setting. Experience with Aderant, excellent attention to detail, and strong organisational and interpersonal skills are preferred. You should be proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word, and able to work under pressure while maintaining accuracy. A team-oriented attitude and the ability to thrive in a busy environment are essential.
