Job summary

Morgan McKinley is seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join our team in Horsham, West Sussex. The role involves managing purchase ledgers, supplier records, and supporting month-end duties while offering opportunities to study ACCA/CIMA and progress your accounting career.

Location: Office-based in Horsham. Hours: Mon-Fri 9-5. This is an ideal role for someone with transactional finance experience who wants to develop further within a well-established company.

Qualifications

• Experience in accounts/finance assistant roles and keen to progress
• AAT qualification or willingness to study ACCA/CIMA
• Excellent communication and IT skills

Responsibilities

• Process purchase invoices and prepare the payment run
• Raise and control the issue of purchase orders
• Bank account and balance sheet reconciliations
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date supplier records
• Assist with analysing the management accounts and month end
• Support with audits

Morgan McKinley is looking for an experienced, Accounts Assistant to work for a well established company in Horsham, West Sussex area. This a great job opportunity for someone with proven transactional finance experience to support the FC, dealing with everyday purchase ledger, sales ledger and month end duties, that is also keen to study and progress their accounting career!

Location: Office based - Horsham, West Sussex

Hours: Monday to Friday 9-5
