Job summary

Morgan McKinley is seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join our team in Horsham. The role involves transactional finance, supporting the FC with purchase and sales ledgers and month-end duties. Qualifications

• Excellent communication and IT skills.
• Keen to progress accounting career and study ACCA/CIMA.

Responsibilities

• Process purchase invoices and assist with payment runs.
• Raise and control purchase orders and supplier records.
• Perform bank reconciliations and balance sheet checks.
• Assist with management accounts analysis and month-end duties.
• Support with audits and statutory paperwork.

Morgan McKinley is looking for an experienced, Accounts Assistant to work for a well established company in Horsham, West Sussex area. This a great job opportunity for someone with proven transactional finance experience to support the FC, dealing with everyday purchase ledger, sales ledger and month end duties, that is also keen to study and progress their accounting career!

Location:

Office based - Horsham, West Sussex

Hours:

Monday to Friday 9-5

Accounts Assistant duties:

• Process purchase invoices and prepare the payment run
• Raise and control the issue of purchase orders
• Bank account and balance sheet reconciliations
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date supplier records
• Assist with analysing the management accounts and month end
• Support with audits

Skills and experience:

• Experience working in a similar Accounts Assistant / Finance Assistant type role and keen to progress
• Ideally be AAT qualified or an keen to study ACCA / CIMA
• Excellent communication and IT skills
