Job summary

Morgan McKinley is seeking an experienced Finance Assistant - Assistant Accountant to join a great business based in Horsham, West Sussex. The role supports the Financial Controller with a range of accounting tasks.

Location: Office based - Horsham, West Sussex. Salary: £27K. Hours: Mon-Fri 9-5. You will process invoices, assist with year-end audits, reconciliations, supplier records, and management accounts analysis.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar Assistant Accountant or Finance Assistant role.
• Excellent communication skills both verbally and written.

Responsibilities

• Process purchase invoices and prepare the monthly payment run.
• Assist with the annual year-end statutory audit.
• Support with bank account and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date supplier records.
• Assist with analysing the management accounts.
• Raise and control the issue of purchase orders.
