Job summary

SCG Together is seeking an Accounts Apprentice to join the Accounts team in Hemel Hempstead. You will provide transactional support to the finance team, including reconciliations and postings.

The role requires a positive attitude, good communication, and organisational skills. Studying or planning to study AAT/ACCA/CIMA is encouraged, with on-site training and a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Positive can-do attitude essential.
• Strong written and verbal communication required.
• Attention to detail is important for accuracy in accounting tasks.
• IT literate with basic software proficiency.
• Good organisation and time-management skills.
• Currently studying or planning to study AAT/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent.
• Able to work well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Sales Ledger Reconciliations between Pulse & Business Central.
• Intercompany journals & reconciliations; hardware journals & reconciliations.
• Collating & posting accruals.
• Collating & posting prepayments.
• Fixed asset management.
• Daily bank reconciliations including cash allocation.
• Support with annual audit process and ad hoc tasks.

We are looking for an Accounts Apprentice to join the Accounts team based at our Hemel Hempstead office, you will be providing transactional support to the finance team.

Responsibilities:

• Sales Ledger Reconciliations between Pulse & Business Central
• Intercompany journals & reconciliations Hardware journals & reconciliations
• Collating & posting accruals
• Collating & posting prepayments
• Fixed asset management
• Daily Bank reconciliations including allocation of cash receipts
• Support with annual audit process
• Any other ad hoc task requests to support the management accountant & financial controller
