SCG Midlands in Hemel Hempstead is seeking an Accounts Apprentice to join the Accounts team, providing transactional support to the finance function. This entry-level role offers a pathway to professional qualifications and exposure to real-world accounting tasks.

You will gain experience across sales ledgers, reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, fixed assets and bank reconciliations while preparing for progression within finance, with encouragement to pursue AAT/ACCA/CIMA studies.

Responsibilities

• Sales Ledger Reconciliations between Pulse & Business Central
• Intercompany journals & reconciliations Hardware journals & reconciliations
• Collating & posting accruals
• Collating & posting prepayments
• Fixed asset management
• Daily Bank reconciliations including allocation of cash receipts
• Support with annual audit process
• Any other ad hoc task requests to support the management accountant & financial controller

Skills Required
