Job summary

Portfolio Payroll are working with a leading accountancy practice in Altrincham seeking an Accounts Assistant with strong all-round finance experience. With 2–3 years' experience, you will support end-to-end accounts including AP/AR, VAT, reconciliations and payroll administration.

• 2–3 years of finance experience in practice or industry.
• AAT/ACCA or qualified by experience.
• Strong knowledge of double-entry, reconciliations and VAT.
• Experience with payroll end-to-end.

• Accounts Payable - processing invoices, supplier payments
• Accounts Receivable - credit control, customer accounts
• VAT returns - preparation and submission

Portfolio Payroll are working with a leading a reputable accountancy practice in Altrincham who is looking to appoint an Accounts Assistant with strong all-round finance experience. This role suits someone with 2-3 years' experience who can confidently support the full end-to-end accounts process, including AP/AR, VAT, reconciliations, and some payroll administration.

They're open to AAT / ACCA qualified or qualified by experience, and ideally someone familiar with Sage, Xero or IRIS.
