Acorn by Synergie is recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Accounts & Office Manager to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Runcorn.
This is a varied and hands-on role, working closely alongside the Managing Director and taking responsibility for the day-to-day financial administration, payroll, HR administration and general office management functions of the business.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the smooth operation of the organisation, ensuring processes run efficiently across finance, administration and office management. This opportunity would suit a highly organised individual who enjoys a broad role with a mix of accounts, administration and operational responsibilities.
Salary up to 35,000.
Early finish Fridays.

Accounts & Finance
Purchase ledger management.
Sales ledger management.
Invoice processing.
Credit control.
Bank reconciliations.
Cash allocation.
Assisting with monthly management accounts.
Liaising with external accountants.
Producing financial and management reports.
Maintaining accurate financial records.
Payroll & HR Administration
Processing payroll information.
Maintaining employee records.
New starter and onboarding administration.
Holiday and absence tracking.
Supporting recruitment administration.
General HR administration.
Ensuring personnel records are up to date.
Office Management
Managing the day-to-day running of the office.
Ordering office supplies and equipment.
Coordinating suppliers and contractors.
Supporting the Managing Director with administrative tasks.
Maintaining office systems and processes.
Providing general business support across departments.
Ensuring the office operates efficiently and effectively.
Previous experience in an Accounts Manager, Office Manager or similar position.
Strong bookkeeping and accounts administration experience.
Payroll administration experience.
HR administration experience.
Excellent organisational skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Good communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and prioritise workloads effectively.
