Cromwell is seeking an Accounting Manager in the United Kingdom to lead the month-end close, deliver accurate financial reporting, and develop a high-performing accounting team. You will combine hands-on accounting with people leadership and collaborate with FP&A, Data & Systems, and operational stakeholders.
You will drive improving accounting processes, standardisation, and automation while building strong financial controls and ensuring policies are consistently applied across the business.
As our new Accounting Manager, you'll lead the delivery of accurate and timely financial reporting while developing a high-performing Accounting team. Combining hands‑on accounting with people leadership, you'll take ownership of key areas of the month-end close and ensure our financial reporting is accurate, well controlled and delivered to a consistently high standard.
You'll also play an important role in transforming how our Accounting team operates. Working closely with Finance Business Partners, FP&A, Data & Systems and operational stakeholders, you'll challenge existing ways of working and identify opportunities to simplify, standardise and automate our accounting processes. If you're a qualified accountant who enjoys developing people, improving processes and making a tangible impact, we'd love to hear from you.
This is an opportunity to help shape the next phase of our Accounting function. You'll have the autonomy to challenge how we work today, develop the team and build simpler, stronger and more efficient accounting processes.
