Job summary

Zurich is offering an Accounting Intern placement in Swindon that combines real responsibility with structured support. You’ll work on live projects, learn from senior managers and build your professional profile while developing MI and financial systems.

You’ll join a hybrid workplace with mentoring from a buddy at the start, a pathway to graduate opportunities in 2027, and a strong benefits package including pension contributions and private medical cover.

In addition to departmental day-to-day activities, you can expect to be involved in real projects that deliver value to our business and customers. What you’ll need:

You must have an indefinite, full right to work and reside in the UK. We cannot accept applications from those who require sponsorship to work in the UK. You must have resided in the UK for a minimum of three consecutive years.

As Accounting is based in numbers, we prefer a numeric degree, but this isn’t a requirement. A passion for becoming an effective accountant is moreimportant.

Predicted 2:1(or equivalent) placement year degree at university.

At least 96 UCAS points from 3 A-Level subjects (or equivalent).

A minimum C/4 grade in both English and Maths at GCSE level (or equivalent).

Although we are a hybrid workforce, you should be within a commutable distance to your assigned office workplace stated in this advert. At the beginning of the scheme you’ll need to work full-time in the office. This will help with face-to-face training, building your personal brand and broadening your network. Depending on the team you are placed in, there may be a requirement to work in the office for most of the working week.
