RSM UK is seeking an Associate Director in Manchester to lead accounting and financial reporting for a portfolio of clients across industries. You will develop and coach teams, manage statutory reporting, and build trusted advisor relationships with Partners and Directors.

You will oversee budgeting, invoicing and debt recovery, drive business development, and ensure compliance with IFRS, FRS102 and UK Companies Act reporting.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA or equivalent).
• Experience with UK GAAP including group reorganisations and consolidations.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, FRS102 and Companies Act reporting.
• Business development experience.
• Experience as a Line Manager with coaching and development skills.
• Proven ability to quickly build rapport with client principals and colleagues.
• Strong project management and organisational skills.
• At least 3 days present in the office each week.

Responsabilités

• Lead the delivery of accounting and financial reporting services for a portfolio of clients, delivering premium service.
• Identify opportunities and drive business development activities to grow the department.
• Maintain awareness of IFRS, FRS102 and Companies Act reporting requirements.
• Manage AFR team performance and development plans for junior staff.
• Oversee budgeting, cost management, billing and debt recovery for projects.
