General Summary:

This position reports to the Accounting Manager or their designee and is located in Kannapolis, NC, USA. The Accounting Analyst plays a key role in the daily operations of the finance team, ensuring best practices in processing accounts payable, accounts receivable, treasury, and general ledger transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Promote teamwork and effective communication across all personnel and departments.
2. Accounts Payable: Lead vendor setup, invoice processing, resolving invoice queries, statement reconciliations, and processing payments. Prepare mid-month and end-of-month payment proposals.
3. Accounts Receivable: Process transactions including customer setup, invoicing, resolving queries, statements, and collections.
4. Treasury: Administer payments, record bank entries, reconcile bank statements, manage general ledger entries, and reconcile balance sheet accounts.
5. Other: Support credit card and expense reporting, assist with ERP upgrades, prepare audit documentation, follow safety regulations, and perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Work Experience:

College or university degree in Accounting with 3 years of relevant experience preferred.

Specialized Knowledge and Skills:

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications, especially Excel.
• Understanding of role-specific processes and ability to articulate them.
• Experience with Microsoft D365 preferred.
• Ability to work under stress and meet tight deadlines.
• Teamwork skills and a positive, proactive attitude.

Equipment and Applications:

Computer with Microsoft Office suite, including D365.

Work Environment and Physical Demands:

Must work effectively in a high-pressure environment, with occasional domestic and international travel, and flexible hours including weekends. Physical demands include lifting up to 50 pounds, manual dexterity, and working with machinery and hazardous fluids, in accordance with health and safety policies.
