Job summary

Michael Page Finance partners with a well-established advisory and accountancy firm to recruit a manager who will lead accounting advisory engagements and provide technical accounting guidance across UK GAAP and IFRS. You will support corporate transactions and oversee reporting papers for a varied client base.

The role demands ACA/ACCA qualification with PQE, strong client relationship management, and proven project leadership.

Qualifications

• Experience leading accounting advisory engagements.
• Strong knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS.
• Experience with acquisitions, disposals or fundraising.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments to budget and timescales.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver accounting advisory engagements for a diverse client base.
• Provide technical accounting advice under UK GAAP and IFRS.
• Support corporate transactions including acquisitions, disposals and fundraising activity.
• Prepare and review financial reporting papers, accounting position papers and technical assessments.
• Advise clients on complex accounting matters arising from business change, restructuring and transaction activity.
• Manage multiple assignments simultaneously, ensuring delivery to budget and timescales.
