Job summary

Michael Page is partnering with a well-established advisory and accountancy firm to recruit a Manager for accounting advisory and transaction services. The role focuses on leading engagements, advising on UK GAAP and IFRS, and supporting corporate transactions for owner-managed and mid-market clients.

You will manage multiple assignments, ensure delivery within budget and timescales, and develop leadership capabilities within a growing advisory practice in the Birmingham area.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualified with significant post-qualification experience.
• Experience in accounting advisory, transaction services or a technical accounting environment.
• Strong knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS.
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and lead project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver accounting advisory engagements for a diverse client base.
• Provide technical accounting advice under UK GAAP and IFRS.
• Support corporate transactions including acquisitions, disposals and fundraising activity.
• Prepare and review financial reporting papers, accounting position papers and technical assessments.
• Advise clients on complex accounting matters arising from business change, restructuring and transaction activity.
• Manage multiple assignments simultaneously, ensuring delivery to budget and timescales.
