Job Overview

We are seeking a Technician, Accountant (Assistant Management Accountant) to join our team in Nuneaton on a fixed-term contract until the end of the financial year. If you are passionate about progress, enjoy hands-on problem-solving, and want to support a team dedicated to creating high-quality dairy products, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

1. Producing accurate and timely weekly reconciliations for production, ensuring the site operates within its budget.
2. Managing stock integrity for the new Prepack factory, including Cheese WIP, Finished Goods, and packaging, ensuring correct transactions.
3. Producing weekly factory wastage reports for operational analysis and performance improvement.
4. Assisting with factory capacity analysis and volume planning.
5. Managing the PO process for the Prepack factory, ensuring timely raising and receipt of orders.
6. Supporting the Management Accountant in preparing budget elements and monthly forecasts.

Ideal Candidate

1. Studying or starting a financial professional qualification (AAT/CIMA/ACCA).
2. Experience working in a Finance Team.
3. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; experience with AX Dynamics is a plus.
4. Ability to liaise effectively across all levels of staff and management.
5. Good time management skills and a team-oriented mindset.
6. Ability to meet tight deadlines in a financial environment.
7. Willingness to challenge and improve factory processes.
