Your new company

Our client has continued to expand and grow with a strong Accounts and Tax department. Due to their success, they require a strong Accounts Manager. The role will be purely accounts-focused with no Audit responsibilities.

Your new role

1. Developing relationships and being the first point of contact for a portfolio of clients
2. Understanding client queries, proposing solutions, and overseeing responses to clients
3. Reviewing (and some preparation of) year-end company financial statements
4. Reviewing (and some preparation of) management accounts and presenting them
5. Reviewing self-assessment tax returns and corporation tax returns
6. Providing general tax advice (with support from the tax department)
7. Overseeing training and development of junior staff (line manager for the accounts team)
8. Managing a small team of 5

What you'll need to succeed

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified
• Minimum of 2 years PQE
• Extremely organized
• Experience managing various client deadlines and portfolios successfully
• Experience with practice-based software
• Team management experience
• Ambitious
