Location: Bidford-on-Avon, Salary: Up to £35-42,000 per annum (pro rata for part-time)Hours: Full-time (part-time considered)

We're seeking an experienced and proactive accountant to join our dynamic team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about helping clients navigate the complexities of accounting and taxation.

What you ll be doing as a Practice Accountant

• Prepare and review annual accounts for a diverse portfolio of clients, including sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
• Manage corporation tax computations and submissions.
• Oversee VAT returns and ensure compliance with HMRC regulations.
• Handle payroll processing and related reporting.
• Provide insightful business advice and support to clients.
• Utilize Xero accounting software to maintain accurate financial records.
• Liaise with HMRC and Companies House on behalf of clients.
• Stay updated on changes in tax legislation and accounting standards.

What we re looking for in our Practice Accountant role

• Qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a UK practice environment.
• Proficient in Xero accounting software; Xero certification is a plus.
• Strong understanding of UK tax laws and accounting principles.
