Job summary

Worldpay is seeking an Accountant II in Manchester to support reconcilia­tions for the NAP, Platform and WPAP streams. You’ll validate journals, prepare complex entries, and investigate queries while producing MI to monitor team performance.

With strong Excel and analytical skills, you’ll manage multiple priorities and work independently to ensure SLA/KPI targets are met in a fast-paced payments environment.

What you’ll own as the Accountant II NAP, Platform and WPAP reconciliations

• Journal validation and approval of simple journals, preparation of complex journals
• Complex query investigation, resolution
• Producing reporting and MI to analyse and drive team performance
• Prioritise workload effectively throughout the day to ensure the team meets all SLA’s and KPI’s

What you’ll bring

• Previous Reconciliations experience
• Confident communicating at all levels – pro-active must have the confidence to approach other business areas for information needed.
• Analysis skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
