Job summary

Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD has a fantastic opportunity for an Accountant in Bolton. The role suits someone with accountancy practice experience who is AAT Level 3 qualified or studying towards it, offering varied exposure across accounts, VAT, payroll and general accounting.

You will manage a portfolio of clients, work with cloud-based accounting systems, and develop your technical and client-facing skills in a supportive, technology-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an accountancy practice.
• AAT Level 3 qualified or currently studying towards AAT.
• Experience across accounts preparation, bookkeeping, VAT and/or payroll beneficial.
• Strong numerical ability with excellent attention to detail.
• Good written and verbal communication with clients.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of clients and provide support across their day-to-day accounting requirements.
• Assist with the preparation of accounts for sole traders and small limited companies.
• Prepare and assist with VAT returns and submissions.
• Support payroll processing and related administration.
• Act as a key point of contact for clients, responding to queries and providing ongoing support.
