This position offers an exceptional opportunity for a Qualified Accountant to manage and facilitate the accurate preparation of accounts for a wide range of OMB (owner managed business) working as a portfolio manager engaging in face2face meetings so as to maintain excellent client relations. Based in Gloucester, and within easy access to the M5.

With a team of 14 professional staff that cover Audit, Accounts and Taxation services in a friendly and professional way. They are known for providing top-quality services to a diverse range of OMB clients, both locally and nationally.

Description

• Coordinate and complete annual audits.
• Mentor and develop a team of junior accountants, managing work allocation, training, problem resolution, performance evaluation, and the building of an effective team dynamic.
• Advise on long-term business and financial planning.
• Working as part of an established team dealing with Accounts/Taxation and some audits.

Profile

Successful Accountant should have:

• A degree in Finance or Accounting.
• Professional certification (e.g. ACA, ACCA) or part qualified and therefore qualified by experience.
• Proven working experience in the professional services industry.
• Strong understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in MS Office and finance software.
• An analytical mind with a strategic ability.

Job Offer

• An estimated salary range of £40,500 - £60,500 per year.
