An Accountant within the Affiliates team, who will ensure the accurate recording and reporting of all affiliate transactions.

Reporting to the Finance Manager as part of the Affiliates team, you will oversee the full accounting cycle for affiliate-related activities.

You will cultivate relationships and identify areas for improvement throughout the affiliates process. To support team success, you will provide comprehensive training and mentoring, while ensuring adherence to our policies and procedures.

This role demands a proactive approach to risk management, ensuring robust controls are in place and that processes are regularly reviewed and improved to maximise accuracy and efficiency.

This role is eligible for inclusion in the Company’s hybrid working from home policy.

Successful applicants will be required to provide proof of eligibility to work in the UK.

Preferred skills and experience

• Effective communicator who can engage with a wide range of financial and non-financial stakeholders.
• Proficient in Excel with an exceptional attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Main Responsibilities

• Supervising the Assistant Accountant, providing guidance and support.
• Minimising risk of incorrect payment through implementation of robust controls.
• Developing and maintaining strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Maintaining and developing the reporting process to track affiliate performance and payments.
• Identifying opportunities for streamlining existing processes to ensure efficiency.
• Encouraging team collaboration and knowledge sharing throughout the department.
