1. Monitoring the finances of the firm, including projections, cash flow, and fee earners' performance.
2. Authorising and checking client money accounts, overseeing daily workflow.
3. Bookkeeping and invoicing.
4. Improving operational strategies and ensuring consistent application of accounting principles and practices across all transactions.

The ideal Financial Controller:

• Possesses accountancy experience, ideally with qualified practice background.
• Proficient in using SAGE software.
• Knowledgeable about SRA rules and the importance of implementing the seven principles.
• Capable of collecting, analysing data, and drawing conclusions, with strong organisational and time management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build relationships.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and other common office applications.
