Job description

Description: Service Care Solutions has partnered with a leading accountancy practice seeking a talented and experienced accountant to join their growing team on a permanent basis.

Role: Senior Accountant

Location: Mansfield

Salary: £35,000 to £45,000 per year

Working: Hybrid (2-3 days from home)

Key Responsibilities:

1. Preparation of statutory accounts for limited companies in accordance with applicable financial reporting standards.
2. Auditing small companies, including both individual entities and group structures.
3. Assisting senior accountants during audit fieldwork and assignments.
4. Preparation of draft corporate tax computations and supporting documentation.
5. Compiling management accounts and providing financial insights where necessary.
6. Prioritising and managing workload to meet deadlines effectively.
7. Working confidently with accounting software such as Sage, Xero, and QuickBooks.
8. Performing ad-hoc assignments and supporting the wider team as required.
