Description: Immediately Available Accountant Needed for Temporary Contract - Salford Based with Hybrid Working

Your new company
Our client is a leading provider of nurseries across the UK based in Salford. They are looking for an Accountant to join their team on a temporary contract.

Your new role
As the Assistant Accountant, you will support the Finance Manager. You will be responsible for:

1. Supporting management accounts, financial reporting, and budgetary processes, while also managing expenses and bank reconciliations
2. Reconciling accounts and ensuring accurate financial records
3. Collaborating with other stakeholders to ensure financial compliance

What you'll need to succeed
You will have:

1. Proven experience as an Assistant Accountant
2. Have a commercial mindset with experience of working with stakeholders, reporting, and preparation of budgets
3. A recognised professional accounting qualification (e.g., CIMA, ACCA, ACA) or equivalent experience
4. Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail

What you'll get in return
This is a temporary contract with the possibility for temp to perm. Full-time (35 hours, Monday to Friday), with flexible working options available including hybrid working up to 3 days per week.
