Job summary

Global Accounting Network in London is seeking an Accountant to support a dedicated services organisation. The role blends financial expertise with meaningful impact in a hybrid working environment, focusing on cash flow, management accounts, and accurate financial records.

You will collaborate across operational teams, ensuring timely invoices, payments, and precise month-end reporting. AAT or equivalent is desirable, with experience in QuickBooks, Xero or Sage advantageous for success.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a finance or accounting role.
• Knowledge of cash flow management and accounting principles.
• Experience with invoicing, payments, accruals, and prepayments.
• Familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, Sage).
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage the company’s cash flow, assisting with forecasting and reporting trends and variances.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly management accounts, reconcile balance sheets and profit & loss statements.
• Create, issue, and ensure accurate recording of invoices in line with contractual agreements.
• Process outgoing payments and reconcile accounts payable to vendor statements.
• Handle monthly accruals and prepayments, ensuring precise financial recording.
• Support general administrative tasks within the finance department as needed.
