Job summary

Employmint is seeking a Finance professional to support the accounting function alongside the current Accountant. The role covers monthly management accounts, reconciliations, Accounts Payable and Receivable, payroll, forecasting and cash flow reporting, contributing to the ongoing development of the business.

You will join a hands-on finance team in Cookstown, taking on a broad range of duties and ensuring accurate financial information, strong controls, and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an Accountant, Management Accountant, Accounts Technician or Assistant Accountant role.
• Experience preparing monthly management accounts.
• Strong reconciliation and financial reporting skills.
• Experience across Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
• Payroll experience.
• Good understanding of cash flow and financial forecasting.
• Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
• We would also welcome applications from experienced Accounts Technicians or Assistant Accountants who have a strong grounding in accounting.

• Complete balance sheet reconciliations, investigating discrepancies and ensuring the accuracy of financial information.
• Oversee and manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activities.
• Process and manage payroll, ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time.
• Assist with financial forecasting and cash flow reporting.
• Work closely with the existing Accountant to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the finance function.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure financial information is complete and up to date.
• Assist with financial reporting and analysis as required.
• Support the wider finance function with other accounting duties as necessary.
