e.l.f. Beauty is seeking a Part Qualified Accountant to lead month-end close, maintain balance sheet integrity, and support comprehensive audit controls in a fast-paced finance team in London.

You will oversee intercompany journal entries, asset accounting, and SOX-compliant processes while driving improvements. Requires Advanced Excel and SAP experience; this is a hybrid role with 3 in-office days and 2 days at home.

Formación

• Part Qualified Accountant with ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent and 3+ years of experience.
• Strong management accounting with proven month-end close ownership.
• Extensive experience of statutory audit and controls, with thorough documentation.
• Good knowledge of UK GAAP and Companies Act reporting requirements.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems such as SAP.

• Maintain SOX controls and audit trails across fixed assets and internal orders.
• Review asset impairment and support audits with evidence.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and drive efficiencies.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to investigate variances and explain findings.
• Support ad hoc reporting and projects as required.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a magnitude of different tasks for month-end and year-end closing; ensuring accuracy and timeliness for assigned areas
• Maintain complete documentation and support for all accounting entries and balance sheet accounts
• Perform monthly balance sheet account reconciliations and subsequent analytical reviews of any discrepancies;
• Oversee Accounts Payable GL review and staff expenses
• Manage and review intercompany journal entries and their reconciliations;
• Maintain fixed asset master data, ensuring accuracy across asset class, cost centre, useful life, depreciation areas, and accounting assignments
• Maintain strong SOX controls, documentation standards, approval workflows, and audit trails across fixed assets and internal orders
• Review and document asset impairment reviews, providing evidence and support for internal and external audit requirements.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve controls, and drive efficiencies within the finance function
• Working with stakeholders to investigate variances and resolve root causes, using data to explain what’s happened and what it means.
• Support ad hoc reporting, projects, and continuous improvement initiatives as required

Qualifications:

• Part Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) 3+ experience.
• Strong management accounting experience with proven ownership of month-end close
• Extensive experience of statutory audit and controls (testing, implementation, documentation)
• strong awareness of UK GAAP and Companies Act reporting requirements.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience working with ERP systems such as SAP,
• Ability to multitask and jump in and help where needed
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• A collaborative mindset with a proactive and continuous improvement approach

The base salary range for this roleislisted above.

Total compensation includes base salary, annual company-based performance bonus, and equity.Under e.l.f.’s annual bonus program, employees are eligible to earn up to 200% of their target bonus when company performance exceeds defined goals. In addition, e.l.f. provides a variety of other benefits to employees, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, a retirement savings plan, gender neutral parental leave, and unlimited paid time off. The amount of total compensation (including base salary) offered will be based on a wide range of factors, including geographic location, experience, specific skills, and qualifications.
