Our client is now looking to recruit an experienced Part-Time Accountant to support their finance operations. This is a fantastic opportunity for an organised and detail-oriented finance professional who is proficient in Sage accounting software and looking for a flexible, part-time role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting tasks using Sage software
• Process invoices, payments, and bank reconciliations
• Prepare VAT returns and ensure compliance with HMRC deadlines
• Monitor cash flow and assist with monthly management accounts
• Maintain accurate financial records and filing systems
• Support the Director and external accountants with year-end processes

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a similar accounting or book keeping role
• Proficiency in Sage software (Sage or Sage Business Cloud) is essential
• Strong understanding of VAT, invoicing, and general accounting principles
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach
