About the Role:

Orka Financial is working with a rapidly growing and exciting international business to recruit a broad Accountant role. Based in High Wycombe, the company offers hybrid working. This is a new role, part of several positions being recruited due to the company's impressive growth. The role is suitable for someone actively studying towards their accounting qualification and offers excellent opportunities for growth and development.

Responsibilities:

1. Prepare monthly management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations for multiple business units.
2. Support the wider finance team to ensure accurate and timely production of management accounts.
3. Report variances in management accounts to Group finance.
4. Assist with group and local audits, and prepare statutory accounts.
5. Contribute to budgeting, cash flow forecasts, and FP&A analysis for the entities.
6. Ensure accurate intercompany transactions across global Group companies.
7. Assist in the implementation of new finance systems.
8. Support ESG reporting initiatives.
9. Maintain and improve fixed asset registers.
10. Collaborate with commercial, finance, and operational teams to enhance data accuracy for reporting and forecasting.
11. Assist with monthly consolidation processes.

Profile:

• Effective communicator capable of working with non-financial managers.
• Solid understanding of financial accounting and processes.
• Open, analytical, and detail-oriented approach.
