Job summary

Hollybank Trustees Ltd is seeking a qualified Accountant to join our Birmingham practice on a permanent, full-time basis. You will own the preparation of Management Accounts and Statutory Accounts for a diverse client portfolio, ensuring timely delivery and accuracy.

You will liaise with clients to obtain information, resolve queries and present findings in a clear, commercial manner, supporting month-end and year-end close timetables and driving process improvements across reporting."

We are seeking a qualified, detail-oriented Accountant to join our accountancy practice. You will take ownership of preparing accurate and timely Management Accounts and Statutory Accounts for a diverse client portfolio.

As An Accountant Your Role Will Involve:

• Preparation and finalisation of Management Accounts
• Preparation of Statutory Accounts
• Preparation of monthly reporting packs for clients
• Liaising with clients to obtain information, resolve queries, and present findings in a clear, commercial manner.
• Support month‑end and year‑end close timetables, improving processes and reporting quality.

The Ideal Accountant Will:

• Be part or fully qualified ACA/ACCA, or equivalent.
• Have a minimum 3-5 years’ previous experience in an accountancy firm.
• Demonstrate a proven track record preparing Management Accounts and Statutory Accounts end‑to‑end.
