Job summary

Prince Personnel Limited, on behalf of a growing Shrewsbury-based business, is recruiting an Accountant on a permanent basis. You will work closely with the Head of Finance in a varied role delivering end-to-end accounting.

You will be responsible for processing invoices, monthly management accounts, accruals, prepayments, VAT, journals and bank reconciliations, plus supplier queries. The role is office-based, 37.5 hours per week, with a salary of £38,000 to £45,000 DO.E.

Prince Personnel are working with a growing, Shrewsbury based, business who are looking to expand their finance team. Due to increased workload and business growth, they are looking to add an Accountant to their team on a permanent basis. You will work closely with the Head of Finance. This will be a real varied role where you will be doing end-to-end accounting.

Skills and Experience

They said it is an office where everyone "mucks in" so needs to be someone who is happy to do that and work in that environment, none of the duties are above anyone, even the Head of Finance chips in with processing invoices etc. They need someone who is strong analytically.
