Job summary

Scrutton Bland, part of the Sumer Group, invites applications for its Early Careers Trainee Programme in Norwich. You will start a training contract, gaining hands-on experience in Accounts or Tax while studying towards AAT, ACA or ATT.

You’ll join the Sumer Academy and a group-wide cohort, with paid study leave, mentoring, and exposure to diverse clients and projects as you develop both technical and soft skills.

Qualifications

• A-Level or equivalent academic history required.
• Strong communication skills with clients and colleagues.
• Team player who can manage workload and deadlines.
• Proactive problem solving and a can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assist with accounts preparation for a range of clients.
• Support tax and business advisory work alongside senior staff.
• Engage with clients to understand their needs and deliver service.
• Progress through a structured training contract toward AAT, ACA or ATT.
• Participate in the Sumer Academy and group-wide cohort training.
