Job summary

Scrutton Bland, part of the Sumer Group, invites applications for an Early Careers Trainee Programme in Ipswich. You will begin a training contract toward AAT or ACA, gaining hands-on experience in Audit or Accounts with a friendly team.

The role offers Full study support, buddying, mentoring, and cohort training through the Sumer Academy, with exposure to diverse clients and projects. Start date is September 2027 in a permanent, 37.5-hour week.

Qualifications

• Strong A-Level or equivalent academic history with good GCSE results.
• Demonstrated communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to learn and develop through study leave and practical training.

Responsibilities

• Join a training contract to gain hands-on experience in Audit or Accounts.
• Support audits or prepare accounts depending on the team.
• Engage directly with clients and contribute to projects under supervision.
