Job summary

Menzies LLP is offering an Accountancy - Placement Student 2027 position based at the Gatwick Office. The role provides exposure to Audit, Tax and Accounts through a 12-month rotation placement as part of our graduate pathways.

You will rotate across core service lines, gain practical insights, and receive ongoing training and development to help you decide which field to pursue on the Graduate Programme.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a 2:2 undergraduate degree in any discipline.
• Minimum of 2 A levels (A-C) and one other A level or equivalent.
• 5 GCSEs grades A*-C including Maths and English.

Responsibilities

• Rotate around key business areas in Audit, Tax and Accounts.
• Learn about Audit, Tax and Accounts with long-term career aims.
• Decide on graduate programme pathway (ATT-CTA or ACA).
• Pursue ongoing training and development throughout the placement.

The Rotation Placement Programme

During the 12 month University placement you will have the opportunity to rotate around the key business area’s in Audit, Tax and Accounts. This is a great opportunity for individuals who would like to start their professional career at a dynamic and relationship driven firm that is dedicated to helping grow their client’s business through innovative solutions and services.

The placement programme will give you the flexibility to learn about Audit, Tax and Accounts with the long-term aspiration to enable you to decide which field you would like to start a graduate career in. At the end of the programme both you and Menzies LLP will decide on whether a place on the Graduate Programme is going to happen. If the decision is made to progress, then you will be given a choice of going onto either the Menzies ATT-CTA or ACA Graduate Trainee programme.

• Individuals who are collaborative and eager to take on new challenges
• On track to receive a minimum of a 2:2 undergraduate degree in any degree discipline
• Minimum of 2 x A levels (A-C) and one other A level or equivalent
• 5 GCSEs grades A*-C or 9-4 (including Maths and English Language or equivalent)
• Ability to absorb new information and adapt quickly
• Comfortable working with numbers and demonstrating strong attention to detail
• Clear and thoughtful written and verbal communication skills
• Able to explain financial information in an accessible and supportive manner
