Menzies LLP in Cardiff is offering a 12-month Audit & Assurance placement student position designed to fast-track into the ACA Graduate Programme. Trainees gain practical audit experience in a collaborative environment and exposure to diverse clients.

The programme provides structured development, ongoing training, and the potential path to the ACA route, with a flexible culture and opportunities to shape your early career at Menzies.

Qualifications

• Collaborative mindset with willingness to take on new challenges.
• On track to achieve a minimum 2:2 undergraduate degree in any discipline.
• Minimum of 2 A-Levels (A-C) and one other A level or equivalent.
• Five GCSEs grades A*-C (including Maths and English).
• Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in real Audit and Assurance work during the placement.
• Support trainees as they progress through the ACA Graduate Programme.
• Contribute to client service delivery and team collaboration.

This 12-month university placement could fast-track you onto the ACA Graduate Programme, giving you valuable insight into the field of Audit and helping you decide if it’s the right path for your career. At the end of the placement, there may be an opportunity to progress onto the Graduate Programme, which could include the ACA Graduate Trainee pathway.

What do we look for?

• Individuals who are collaborative and eager to take on new challenges
• On track to receive a minimum of a 2:2 undergraduate degree in any degree discipline
• Minimum of 2 x A levels (A-C) and one other A level or equivalent
• 5 GCSEs grades A*-C or 9-4 (including Maths and English Language or equivalent)
• Ability to absorb new information and adapt quickly
• Comfortable working with numbers and demonstrating strong attention to detail
• Clear and thoughtful written and verbal communication skills
• Able to explain financial information in an accessible and supportive manner
