We are currently seeking an Account Manager Pharma, North Europe within our Pharma, Health & Durables division who will be responsible for driving profitable growth within the assigned territory (focus on UK, but also other North European countries) by expanding existing customer relationships, identifying and converting new business opportunities, and accelerating market penetration. The role serves as the primary commercial representative of kp, developing strategic customer partnerships while delivering sustainable revenue growth and market share gains. This role should be based in UK.

Tasks And Responsibilities
  • Increase the existing business growth within the assigned territory through customer acquisition, share expansion and market penetration.
  • Develop and execute a territory growth strategy aligned with business objectives and sales targets.
  • Manage and strengthen relationships with existing customers while identifying and securing new business opportunities, the outcome mabye measured in Sales Volume, Sales Value, Financial Margin Contribution.
  • Identify, target and acquire new customers to increase market share and expand kp's presence within the Pharma segment.
  • Build strong relationships across multiple customer functions, including Purchasing, Supply Chain, Quality, Operations, Engineering, Marketing and Business Development.
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer strategies, business drivers, market dynamics and growth initiatives to identify opportunities for value creation.
  • Continuously analyze market trends, competitive activities and customer needs to uncover growth opportunities and support strategic decision-making.
  • Build, maintain and convert a robust pipeline of projects and commercial opportunities, ensuring accurate and timely CRM management.
  • Drive account penetration and increase wallet share by identifying new applications, products and services that create customer value.
  • Develop a strong understanding of Pharma market requirements, product portfolios, manufacturing processes and regulatory expectations relevant to kp's value proposition.
  • Manage the assigned customer portfolio with accountability for revenue, profitability, growth and customer retention.
  • Collaborate closely with internal functions including Operations, Product Management, Quality and Customer Service to ensure successful customer outcomes.
  • Manage pricing and commercial negotiations in line with company profitability objectives and supported by Finance/Pricing Team.
  • Represent kp at customer meetings, industry events and trade shows to strengthen market presence and generate new business opportunities.
  • Travel as required within the territory and internationally to support customer development, business growth and strategic initiatives.
Requirements
  • Commercial or technical studies/education with min. experience of 4 – 8 years in sales of highly sophisticated products, preferably in Pharma industry.
  • Proven experience in B2B sales, acquiring new customers annually, account management and, preferably within Pharma or Healthcare markets or Industries where growth is the DNA of the organisation.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive territory growth through customer acquisition, account expansion and opportunity development.
  • Strong commercial and negotiation skills with a solid understanding of profitability and value-based selling.
  • Ability to build and manage a robust sales pipeline using a structured sales approach and CRM tools.
  • Understanding of Pharma market requirements and regulatory environments; knowledge of polymers and converting technologies is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical, communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Salesforce.com and SAP is an advantage.
  • Excellent English skills; additional languages are a plus.
  • Ability and willingness to travel extensively as required.
