Account Manager (Marine Sales) £27,000 - £32,000 DOE + Commission + Progression + Gym Membership + Travel Opportunities, Exeter

Do you have a sales or business development background and an interest in the marine industry? Are you looking for the opportunity to develop your own portfolio of clients and travel internationally? On offer is the chance to join a company operating from offices across Europe, with over 25 years of experience supplying the maritime industry. They provide services including procurement, storage solutions, inventory management, and logistical support to ensure vessels operate smoothly and efficiently.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to build your own client portfolio and establish strong relationships with crew and purchasing teams from commercial clients in the cruise line, ship management, and freight industries. The company seeks a dynamic account manager who enjoys building rapport and delivering excellent customer service. Opportunities for travel and career progression in sales within this exciting industry are available.

The Role:
  1. Managing a portfolio of clients
  2. Driving growth of key accounts and identifying barriers to growth
  3. Engaging new and past customers, targeting new business areas
  4. Networking and outreaching to potential clients
  5. Addressing and resolving customer complaints and issues
  6. Attending sales trips to meet key clients and develop relationships
  7. Keeping up to date with relevant legislation

Working hours: 8am - 5pm, Monday to Friday
