Job summary

Build Recruitment Limited in Chiswick is seeking an Account Manager to own Facilities Management delivery across a high-profile media and broadcast campus. This role balances engineering credibility with commercial and stakeholder skills in a live broadcast environment.

You’ll lead a team of 9 engineers and 1 contract support, manage P&L, oversee planned and reactive maintenance, and be the main client contact for performance, uptime and compliance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Account/Contracts/Engineering management within FM.
• Technical background in Building Services, Electrical, Mechanical or Critical Engineering.
• Experience managing data centres, broadcast facilities or similar.
• Knowledge of power distribution, UPS, cooling, BMS.
• Strong commercial acumen and budgets management.
• Knowledge of health & safety legislation.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers and contract support; manage performance.
• Oversee PPM, reactive maintenance, lifecycle planning and project delivery.
• Manage P&L and budgets; forecast and commercial performance.
• Ensure safe, compliant operation of critical systems.
• Build relationships with client stakeholders; escalation point.
• Drive contract performance against KPIs and SLAs.
• Incidence investigation and RCA within live ops.
