Qualifications

Our Gallagher Commercial team is seeking an ambitious and engaging Account Manager to join our successful team of desk-based Account Executives in Belfast. You will join a cohesive and collaborative group of professionals who are highly experienced and knowledgeable in their field. Your role will involve providing excellent and varied services to our customers, with the main goal of achieving optimal account retention and growth through account management, broking, and technical support. How you'll make an impact

• Build & maintain relationships with clients, insurers, and colleagues.
• Review & understand client needs and exposures, offering excellent customer service, risk solutions, technical advice, and positive outcomes.
• Produce professional documentation for clients & insurers using Gallagher systems & documentation suite.
• Ensure accurate and timely recording of information in the system.
• Check insurer documentation for accuracy & issue to clients as per Evidence of Cover requirements.
• Follow Gallagher Standard Operating Procedures & best practices.
• Handle account queries & credit control matters.
• Develop & maintain product knowledge, staying updated on market changes.
• Meet team targets & KPIs.
• Set personal development objectives with the Commercial Team Leader.
• Contribute to business development aligning with team & company standards.

About You

• Experience in the Insurance Industry.
• Good knowledge of general insurance products, services, and legal principles.
• Previous experience with Acturis system is desirable.
• Strong customer service and rapport-building skills.
• Problem-solving & analytical skills, with the ability to recognize risks and seek advice.
• Excellent time management, organization, and administrative skills.
• Ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
• Working towards or holding Cert CII/Dip CII qualification; GCSE standard or equivalent.
• Eligible to work in the UK.
