Golden Fox Recruitment Ltd is recruiting on behalf of a highly regarded water hygiene and compliance consultancy for an Account Manager role covering the South West. You’ll manage a portfolio of accounts, deliver compliant projects and develop long-term client relationships.

The role includes regional travel, a generous base salary up to £45,000 plus commission, and ongoing training with genuine opportunities for career progression in a supportive, low-turnover culture.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an Account Management or similar client-facing role within water hygiene or related field.
• Knowledge of ACoP L8, HSG274 and water hygiene compliance.
• Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Experience with healthcare or large-scale compliance contracts is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of water hygiene and legionella compliance accounts in the South West.
• Coordinate engineers, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Provide technical support and compliance advice to clients.
• Oversee risk assessments, water hygiene programmes and remedial works.
• Review technical reports and compliance documentation.
• Monitor project delivery, budgets and timescales.
• Work with operational teams to ensure a first-class service.

The Role

You'll be responsible for managing a portfolio of water hygiene and legionella compliance accounts across the South West, acting as the key point of contact for clients while ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with current legislation.

Typical responsibilities include:

• Managing a portfolio of commercial client accounts.
• Building and maintaining long-term client relationships.
• Coordinating engineers, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Providing technical support and compliance advice to clients.
• Overseeing risk assessments, water hygiene programmes and remedial works.
• Reviewing technical reports and compliance documentation.
• Monitoring project delivery, budgets and timescales.
• Working closely with operational teams to ensure a first-class service.

What We're Looking For

To be considered, you'll ideally have:

• Previous experience in an Account Management, Contract Management or similar client-facing role within the water hygiene, legionella or water treatment industry.
• A good understanding of ACoP L8, HSG274 and water hygiene compliance.
• Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
• Strong organisational and commercial awareness.
• A full UK Driving Licence.
• Experience managing healthcare or large-scale compliance contracts would be advantageous but isn't essential.
