The role

Responsibilities

We are now looking for a motivated Account Handler (we'll also consider a Trainee) based in our Gloucester office to join the Jensten Group. This is an exciting time to join our business as we continue to grow, and the successful candidate can expect training and development within the role and the Insurance Industry in general. Reporting to the Team Leader, your main focus will be on our Pharmacy book of business. Key objectives and responsibilities include:

  1. Delivering excellent customer service and administering insurance policies.
  2. Providing efficient, high-quality, and professional service to a portfolio of clients.
  3. Handling and organizing all incoming correspondence, including responding to clients.
  4. Providing day-to-day service to meet client requests and requirements to retain existing clients.
  5. Working on renewals.
  6. Dealing with incoming inquiries and correspondence to the shared mailbox and supporting team members.
  7. Ensuring company procedures are followed to adhere to quality standards and compliance regulations.
  8. Accurately recording all communications against client records.
About You

As an Account Handler, you will have excellent communication and written skills with a keen eye for detail. You should possess excellent customer service skills and be eager for career progression, training, and development within the role and the Insurance Industry. You will also have:

  1. Previous experience in a similar client-facing role.
  2. Strong customer service and communication skills.
  3. Insurance background (preferably).
  4. Drive and genuine passion to learn and grow within Insurance.
  5. Good attention to detail and ability to multitask, updating systems and admin.
  6. Excellent telephone manner, with the ability to network and build relationships.
  7. Knowledge and experience with Acturis systems (preferably).
