Job Description:

We have an exciting opportunity to join our organisation as a Treasury Accounting Assistant on our Chippenham site on a 14 month fixed term basis to cover maternity leave. Working in a busy Treasury department within a centralised finance function, producing bank account and balance sheet reconciliations.

This is a chance for a trainee accountant seeking a role offering variety and challenge.

Hours:37.5 hours per week hybrid working attending our office on Tuesday and Wednesday's.

How will you contribute?

• Reporting to the Treasury Accounting Manager.
• Account reconciliation and reporting of Receivables Purchase Facility.
• Account reconciliation and reporting of Supplier Finance.
• Account Reconciliation PL Bank Account and advise.
• Responsible for bank administration tasks.
• Preparation of documentation for internal Audit (EFTs and Treasury Policy).
• Provide cover for Cashiers including manual payments and cashflow.
• Upload payroll Chaps files.
• Ad hoc project work and development opportunities as directed by Treasury Accounting Manager.
• ICO.
• DD Forecasting.

What will you bring?

• Trainee accountant.
• Working towards or achieved an AAT qualifcation
• A team player with good communication and people skills.
• An analytical mindset.
• Excellent attention to detail with a proactive attitude.
• Focused on process development and a commitment to continuous improvement.
• Basic Excel skills, working use of formulas.
• Knowledge of Oracle would be advantageous but not necessary as training will be given.
