Overview

Are you interested in a fast-paced role in the heart of our business? Our Major Risks Practice Division based out of London office are seeking an organised and technically minded Account Handler to join our brilliant team.

Our Major Risks Practice Division is composed of strong Account Managers who take pride in providing the best possible service for our clients, all driven to succeed. If you share this attitude, we look forward to hearing from you.

You will be responsible for providing account servicing support for your accounts while maintaining profitability.

This role will report directly to an MRP Team Leader, working with several Directors on the accounts you support. Working alongside the wider team and our strong client base, this is an excellent opportunity to progress your career within Gallagher.

How you'll make an impact

• Handle the full lifecycle of accounts management – from new business to renewal.
• Build positive relationships with clients to fully understand their needs.
• Support assigned accounts across multiple trades and industries, covering various classes of insurance.
• Manage day-to-day queries and projects related to accounts.

About You

• Holding or working towards Chartered Insurance Institute Qualifications: Cert CII/Dip CII is desirable; GCSE standard or equivalent education is expected.
• Experience in larger commercial to corporate insurance across classes is desirable.
• Proven ability to meet targets within a regulated, measurable framework and achieve SLAs.
• Risk-aware handling of customer information, with the ability to recognize potential risks and seek advice.
• Strong rapport-building skills and a focus on excellent customer service, with outstanding communication skills.
• Due diligence, process-driven, and capable of meeting deadlines, with good planning and analytical skills.
• High accuracy and attention to detail, with proactive initiative in assisting team members.
• Proficient in Acturis.
• Eligible to work in the UK.
